TOVARI designs

Tovari Designs is the brainchild of a former dancer who transitioned seamlessly from the world of dance to the realm of clay and canvas choreography. With a BFA from USF, where the individual delved into the realms of both dance and art, an unforeseen injury redirected the artistic journey towards ceramics and painting 26 years ago. The evolution eventually led back to canvases, marking a return to where the artistic career initially flourished. The artist adeptly blends 2D and 3D art, reveling in a newfound sense of creative freedom.

  • Tovari Designs' abstract and impressionistic canvases undergo a meticulous layering process, embodying reflections on life, aspects of nature, and the delicate dance of balance. The artist employs a diverse array of materials, including acrylics, watercolors, pigments, charcoal, oils, and plaster, showcasing a rich tapestry of artistic exploration.

Some of Tovari Designs' creations take on a three-dimensional quality through the incorporation of plaster and a technique honed to perfection for botanical impressions. The artist skillfully works with the relief of foliage, crafting abstract nature scenes that evoke a sense of memory, particularly inspired by botanical leaves and their seed colors. Each canvas captures a scene as if viewed through a window.
