Tom Manziano, (b. 1962) grew up in rural New Jersey with a natural affinity for art as a child, impressing his family and friends with his large and detailed drawings. But multi- talented Tom did not choose art as his first career, rather spending over 2 decades as a teaching PGA golf professional, first in New Jersey and later in Florida. In his mid-forties, Tom decided to take his painting seriously and eagerly began pursuing his passion. He has been painting ever since. Primarily self-taught, Tom Manziano’s paintings have an intense sense of color, and strong light and shadow. Currently living in Southwest Florida, among Toms’ favorite subjects are the Naples beach or a seaside cottage, with his figurative paintings being particularly strong.
