The newly opened Olde Naples Hotel on Third Street South is quickly becoming one of Naples' most charming destinations, blending timeless coastal elegance with thoughtfully curated design. Gardner Colby Gallery is proud to have contributed to this exciting project by helping incorporate artwork from several of our represented artists throughout the property, creating a uniquely local experience for hotel guests and visitors alike.

One of the most prominent artistic features guests will encounter is a collection of reproduced works by renowned artist Kevin Sloan. Gardner Colby Gallery worked closely with the hotel to select a variety of Sloan's captivating paintings for the guest corridor spaces on each floor. 

Known for his allegorical realism and imaginative compositions, Sloan's artwork invites viewers into a world where nature, symbolism, and storytelling intertwine. His thoughtful imagery perfectly complements the hotel's blend of history, wonder, and Old Florida charm.

When the hotel's spa opens, visitors will discover two artistic installations, including a striking mixed-media work by Tovari. Known for her signature impressions of native Florida foliage embedded into richly textured surfaces, Tovari created a special five-piece series titled Susurrus for the project. 

Meaning "a soft rustling, whispering, or murmuring sound, such as the wind through the trees," the series captures the quiet beauty of Southwest Florida's natural environment through local foliage impressions in plaster and seed transfers from the Southern Polypody plant. Susurrus I - IV have been installed throughout the spa, creating a serene and immersive experience for guests. 

Gardner Colby Gallery is pleased to offer the fifth and final piece from the Susurrus series. Collectors interested in acquiring this unique work are encouraged to visit the gallery and experience this beautiful culmination of the series firsthand.

Guests will also discover a beautiful painting by Tom Manziano prominently displayed above the fireplace in the common gathering room that opens onto the hotel's central courtyard. 

Manziano's expressive style and evocative sense of place create a welcoming focal point for guests as they relax and enjoy one of the property's most inviting spaces.

No visit to the Olde Naples Hotel would be complete without a stop at the rooftop pool deck. There, guests can experience a large-scale mural featuring a reproduction of one of Elise Remender's beloved paintings. 

The vintage-inspired swimmer perfectly complements the rooftop's nostalgic design elements, from its classic tilework to its thoughtfully curated furnishings, creating a playful and elegant focal point overlooking downtown Naples.
