California artist Lesley Rich is a colorist who recreates the landscape and figure with lavish brush strokes and rich color. “My paintings, even my landscapes, are more about people. Hopefully, they are an honest glimpse into the beauty of people’s lives.”

Ms. Rich travels the world over to capture people from varied cultures doing simple every day things and enjoying life. She often paints “en plein air” on location and completes a painting in one sitting.

Numerous exhibitions, including many Alla Prima International Shows; Oil Painters of America Invitational Exhibitions; Palette & Chisel Invitational shows; and multiple One-Woman shows in galleries across the country, have exposed her work to an ever growing group of collectors.

Lesley is a member of The Palette & Chisel Academy; Alla Prima International (of which she is a Signature Member); Allied Artists of America, American Artists Professional League, Oil Painters of America, and the California Art Club. The work of Ms. Rich was featured in Southwest Art magazine as an exceptional artist for new collectors.
